The Global EHS team works with the functions and leadership to issue standards for EHS performance, to coordinate/audit performance, and to report on this performance. The EHS Intern plays a key support role in this assessment of opportunities and the measuring and tracking of performance.
Areas of focus include, but are not limited to:
Database searches, development and implementation of data collection processes, development and review of EHS standards, preparation of training materials on EHS topics, data analysis and report generation, in addition to independent projects within the EHS field (example projects may include: JSAs, finding beneficial use for manufacturing scrap, performing analysis of injuries to identify corrective actions, etc.)
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA required
- Must be actively pursuing a BS or master’s degree (Environmental Sciences, Safety, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering or Health, Industrial Hygiene or Chemical Engineering)
- Have the ability to complete more than one internship assignment prior to graduation
